Beginning in 1998, Young Entrepreneurs Israel set the standard for innovation education.

Each year, 3,000 students experience hands-on entrepreneurship programs in 150 schools and 87 local cities, across Israel, from the north to the south. Our teams represent a microcosm of the diverse Israeli society: Jews, Christians, Arab, Druze, Bedouin, Orthodox communities, peripheral cities and more.

Our large network enables us to operate programs across the full spectrum of Israeli society, increasing exposure to better opportunities.

Light the Entrepreneurial Spark

We visualize our youth as Israel’s national treasures, preparing them to be the next generation of entrepreneurs, leaders, and inventors. We emphasize the development of personal and professional skills for success in the 21st century.

As the old Swahili saying goes, ‘it takes a village to raise a child’, therefore we have created a wide network of experts from across start-up nation, to ensure we are well equipped to groom the leaders of the future.

We utilize the services of this network of volunteers, to channel the spirit of giving and produce a fulfilling experience for all our students.

Capitalizing on these opportunities leads our young entrepreneurs to grow into caring, influential persons in the national, and international community.

The JA Company Program

Students learn about innovation and entrepreneurship while creating their own start-up companies, an annual program that trains and educate youth in business etiquette and entrepreneurial leadership, thereby impacting society and the environment.

They create their own ventures, taking ideas from conception to reality. The program uses real-life scenarios which prepares young entrepreneurs for life challenges. Participants practice critical and creative thinking, problem-solving and performing in uncertainty.

Our organization focuses on technological solutions. We have created a unique method to encourage our youth to use the latest technologies in their innovations.

Our students work as a team and manage all aspects of the business, including raising capital, production, marketing, and finance, the year culminates with their participation in intense competitions.

They enter as young students in the 5th to 9th grades and leave as young entrepreneurs – skilled and confident in themselves, with a strong will to influence the world and make it a better place.

Accomplishments

Recently, YE Israel’s representatives in the international “Company of the Year” competition, have earned many accolades.

In 2020, the SIGMA company represented Israel in the international competition hosted by JA Portugal - 31st JA EUROPE COMPANY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION and were awarded three prestigious awards, including:

• 2nd place in 31st JA Europe Company of the year competition
• 2nd place in Public Choice Award
• The Sonae Social Entrepreneurship Award

For the past three years we have received the award of “Model Organization” granted by JA Europe.

We are proud of our young entrepreneurs’ final products, which represent their views of life and desires to have a significant impact on society.

Entrepreneurship and innovation education is essential not only to shape the mindsets of young people but also to provide the skills, knowledge and attitudes that are central for tomorrow’s workplace.
